5 Things Android Users Can Do That Would Make Every iPhone User Jealous

Last week we did a feature where we pointed out how an iPhone is superior to Android phones in five different ways. While that article went viral, one cannot ignore that Android phones have a few tricks up their sleeve as well. Android Nougat, the new version of Android was recently released by Google and it has been getting good reviews so far. The upgrade does not show a drastic change but it still does things that an iPhone user can only dream of doing. Android has been separating itself from iOS for a while and this new update is no exception. Here are some features of the Android operating system that sets itself apart and makes every iPhone user jealous.

1. Split Screen
Split screen is a feature that has been previously available on many Android devices; however, Google has made it official and is now going to support it natively. This will allow you to use two apps simultaneously.  If you have multiple apps running, all you need to do is double tap the recent apps button and it will automatically display the last two apps you’ve used. This feature blows Apple’s multi tasking feature out of the park as it is much faster and one does not have to select from a carousel of open applications.

2. Instant Apps
This feature is a little old but now it is officially coming as a stock feature on Android Nougat. Instant apps enable you access to certain applications without you having to download and install them. This feature would be most useful for digital payments where you will be able to pay via Android Pay. This is feature is still lacking in all iOS devices.

3. You Can Add More Storage
The best part about owning an Android phone is that you can buy a phone with a low storage capacity and in addition extend the storage by installing a MicroSD card. Most Android phones come with an SD card slot which puts the iPhone to shame. iPhone comes with the limited amount of storage which you can’t even expand and gets extremely frustrating. Although iPhone users can store files in iCloud; however, it’s still not a great solution.

4. Android Still Has More Customizations Than iOS
Android fans hold this feature close to their hearts. Android phone is great for customising. You can install launchers than can completely change the look of your phone and also change the interface. All an iPhone will let you do is change the wallpaper or re-arrange the icons.

5. Google Assistant
The new Assistant software by Android has made a huge leap in terms of an upgrade. The application will now let you have a more organic back-and-forth conversation. On the other hand, Apple’s Siri feels like a robot on steroids. It is also far much easier to use Google Assistant and it also has better voice recognition for regional accents.
